An Unexpected Encounter [Sky]

[Wolfstar]

Wolfstar sighed tiredly as he stalked out of his den. Today had been a long day and he was ready to be alone. Quickly trotting out of camp, he relished the quiet night sounds. Alone at last! he thought. The large leader's red-brown tabby coat was a dark brown in the dark night.

Picking his way through the reeds and plants, he glanced up at the stars. Who says those are ancestors? As far as we know, they're just holes in the sky. he snorted at the thought of those bright objects being the long dead cats he'd known. Especially his parents. "May they rot where they were slayed." he snarled at the thought of his pathetic excuse of parents.

A soft rustle could be heard behind the muscular tom. Whirling around, his ears flattened to his broad head, Wolfstar let out a threatening growl. Tasting the air, he scented ThunderClan...mixed among other scents. "Who dares to intrude RiverClan's territory?" his voice boomed demandingly. Authority layered his annoyed and angered tone. His turquoise eyes shined with ferocity in the darkness.

Skypelt froze eyes widening and he thought about running. He shook his head at that stupid thought. With his head held high. His tail twitched once before he got it undercontrol. He growned inside, out of all the cats you c
oils meet, he had to meet Wolfstar. The Tom had to hate him worse then his mother, and that was saying something. " Lovely night isn't
Wilfstar?" He said smiling his nervous smile standing even straiter.

Wolfstar stood up tall, regaining composure though his turquoise eyes were definitely flared with rarely shown anger. He ignored Skypelt's casual comment and narrowed his eyes. "What are you doing here, Skypelt?You're in ThunderClan. You aren't welcome in RiverClan."The huge tom said, icily calm. His tail swished in agitation.

Skypelts tail twiched again, but he sat calmly head slightly lowered. "Didn't your mentor teach you to answerp questions aimed at you before asking your own?" Hpe sneered at the ground. "And as you well know I'm looking for them"

[Wolfstar]

Wolfstar snorted. "You're no elder of mine. Nor are you a cat I should respect. So why be polite if the cat doesn't deserve it? Also, didn't your mentor teach you not to cross the borders like a fool?" it was obvious the seasoned warrior was getting agitated. The ex-rogue glared at Skypelt for a few heart beats then sighed. "They aren't here. I'd have told you if they were." he mumbled. "Now leave before I have to chase you out." Wolfstar added with a short growl.

[SkyPelt]

Skypelt growled softly, " Sundappledidnt have a chance before your warriors k.." He stooped knowing that he was going to far. Shaking his long pelt, he looked him in the eyes. " I am glad you would tell me but that means nothing until they're found. I will keep searching until I do. That includes crossing any borders I see fit. I will leave, bur of my own will." By the end of this rant he was on his paws fur brissled and tail flying.

[Wolfstar]

Wolfstar smiled coldly. "Don't step on your tail on your way out, Skypelt." the usually calm leader rumbled cruelly. "I also suppose they are dead as well. And so they should be. Their border crossing habits were worse than yours." he continued casually. Something about this tom infuriated Wolfstar to no end! Hmph, how could he casually cross borders just to look for a few mouse hearted cats? What a fool. I suppose he believes in StarClan as well! the reddish ginger tom thought with a roll of his eyes. He wasn't usually this impolite and vulgar, but he absolutly loathed this guy!

[SkyPelt]

Skypelt froze his mind going blank. His fur sucked into his body like water was thrown on him. His eyes glazed and his claws slid out most of his weight on his hind legs. His lip lifted slowly showing his bright pink gums and yellowish fangs. "What did you just say?"

Wolfstar turned to glare confidently at his enemy. His claws unsheathed as well. A sneer appeared on his face. "Hmph, you heard me. Or are you deaf?" he replied with morbid humor. His wild rogue instinct came back to him and showed in his now taunting turquoise eyes. The strong and skilled tom seemed relaxed as he glared at his opponent. You see....I might even kill them if I see them....you know since you wandered here. You can go ahead and blame yourself. If they are alive, I'll kill them slowly and painfully." he said slowly, almost teasingly.

[SkyPelt]

NuSkypelt's mind was spinning. As Wolfstar threatened his family, his mate, the one that had kept him sane... he sat down on his hunched and laugh. " My failt, it will be my failt if they died." His face was the picture of sweetness. "You threaten me with a already truth. I left and she disappeared." He started laughing again despatation creeping in.

[Wolfstar]

Wolfstar looked at the tom before him with utter disgust. "You should get out of my sight before I do something I shouldn't" he snapped. The tom felt bad for what he'd said, but sure as hell wouldn't show it! With a flick of his tail, he stood. "I'll give you five seconds before I rip you to shreds like I should have done earlier."

[SkyPelt]

Skypelt gulped in a breath still giggling, but his eyes where as hard as steel. He got to his paws and nodded politely and walked a few steps away before spinning on his left back foot. "No one threatens my mate." He sliced down at Wolfstar's face.

Wolfstar had thought this'd gone too calmly. He dodged to the side only to be nicked on the cheek, blood trickling from the wound. It was only slightly deep. A dark chuckle escaped the leader's maw. "You shouldn't have done that, Skypelt." he said, icily calm. He then barreled into the other tom and raked his long claws into Skypelt's shoulder. "You will regret that..." he whispered into the black warrior's ear. Wildstar always came through with threats...and promises.

Skypelt barely flinched as wolfstar's claw sliced into his desensitized shoulders. He ducked his hepad hissing to bite wolfstar's neck fur. " You should know by now your claws wont work there" he hugged through his fangs. He melted his body balanced remembering to place his weight back and slightly to the left. His eyes burned red the battle blood roaring Easter then he thought it would.

[Wolfstar]

Wolfstar laughed loudly. "You fell for that so easily! The tom yanked his scruff from Skypelt's grip with ease and gracefully leaped onto the younger tom. "Allow me to teach you the art of fighting." he grunted as he dug his claws into his enemy's dense fur and sank his teeth into the scruff of his neck. His weight was much more than the other warriors for he had much more muscle mass.
