Hello all! I'm Beaches and I thought I would post some quick stuff about myself. I'm deaf in my right ear, have a frail immune system, and am colorblind. Yes, I know that females aren't known to be colorblind but it does happen.
Now then, my type of colorblindess is called Monochromancy. It occurs mainly in sea lions but humans are known to have it too. 1% of males have Monochromancy and since females aren't even registered on the chart, I'm guessing we rank at -1% on the chart. Monochromancy colorblindness is where we see color but our brains simply can not process what color we're looking at. So colors tend to get blended together or mixed up entirely. An example would be that red, orange, and yellow look the same to me. Websites that have bright backgrounds with bright font colors tend to appear totally blank to me. Often times it's hard to work around that on rp sites when the owner wants to build it the way they want to. I'm pretty lucky that this site is a black background with white text and not blinding bright colors. Even though I do have to zoom in to read the stuff, but that doesn't bother me too badly.
I live at home with my mom and we demanding pet kitty to take care of. He's spoiled rotten and knows it too but that's why we love him. On his good days anyways. I'm trying to break him out of this habit where he comes into my room at five in the morning, sneaks up to my good ear and then yowls on the top of his lungs for me to get up and feed him breakfast. Yeah, there's only so many heart attacks that I can take on a daily basics. Yeesh. Anyways, that's all I wanted to say. ^_^
